Domestic Violence Training
Domestic abuse or domestic violence is any act of abuse, intimidation, or terror, committed deliberately against a partner, spouse, parent, or child for the purpose of controlling their behavior in an unhealthy manner.
Domestic violence occurs when a person uses physical violence, coercion, threats, intimidation, isolation, stalking, emotional abuse, sexual abuse or economic abuse to control another partner in a relationship. This certificate training will take you through the steps of understanding violence, indicators, how to identify it, prevention, and many other aspects that will prepare you be an advocate for victims of abuse.
